The Xbox Series X pre order sign ups are starting to reveal themselves for the expected November 10th release date. Pre Orders for the Xbox Series X standard ($499) have opened for most major retail stores online. Some have already listed them out of stock but you can still get in line. The All Access bundle ($839) and Advanced Xbox Series X System Bundle ($785) are available at Gamestop.
The initial release went quick. Xbox is promising to have more available consoles will be available soon.

The best chances of nailing down a Xbox Series X console for the expected asking price will be at the major retailers such as Best Buy, Gamestop, and Walmart. Most Xbox Series X pre orders evaporated immediately, but you can sign up for email updates when Xbox Series X pre orders become available again.
